Considered interiors that fit your lifestyle and do you good

Collective Objective Design was born out of a need to create beautifully considered interiors with real backbone and a deeper purpose.

We’re deeply affected by our environment, and when creating spaces it’s important the end result does you good. Too often, this seems to be neglected in pursuit of purely trend-driven decor. Likewise, the process should be enjoyable, inspiring, and fun.

There’s also a common misconception that enlisting interior design help is a little intimidating, that it removes any personalisation and you’re met with a hefty price tag. Not true. Great design that brings positivity to the everyday and also works on a practical level is something that should be accessible to all. We want to create spaces that people love, enjoy spending time in and improve wellbeing. Collective Objective Design exists to democratise interior design so that everyone can feel happy and fulfilled in their surroundings.

Who’s behind Collective Objective Design

I’m an interior designer and advocate for positive change with a background in History of Art & Design. Before I became an interior designer, I worked across the fashion and creative design industries. I’m also highly experienced in art curation and visual merchandising.

When I’m not obsessing about design details I can be found blasting old scratchy records or dancing away to just about any music. I live in trainers, despite having an ‘above average’ collection of shoes and I’m a risotto connoisseur (with a glass of red in hand).

I can often be found aimlessly wandering around an art gallery or out and about with my husband Dan, (the other half of our parent company Collective Objective), and our daughter Florence, along with our little canine sidekicks, Ruby and Albert. Family is everything to me.

Positive and progressive change

At Collective Objective Design, we explore, instil, and inform on issues surrounding wellbeing; sustainability; environmental responsibility; and integrity in design. We don’t claim to be a fully-sustainable company or to only work with sustainable materials – instead, we set out to practice as much as we can, and where possible, in a responsible and conscious way. To do this, we aim to stay informed and knowledgeable about issues relating to sustainable production and progressive living. That’s why we’ll advise you on the avenues to take in the sourcing of products that support this lifestyle, from furnishings, fabrics, paints, and products. And why Collective Objective Design aligns itself with small, UK-based businesses who hold themselves accountable and share our ethos for caring about what they’re putting out in the world.

This commitment to conscious living and positive practice flows through Collective Objective Design’s entire business practice. By working with us, and getting involved in the Co. Design way of living, you’re part of a more considered, ethical and sustainably aware future, with no compromise to your beautiful interiors.
